How does a diamond wire saw cut?
1. Determine the cutting section orientation
Based on the construction drawings, plan the cutting units, cutting route, and section orientation on site. Drill the hoisting and rope threading holes. Use a diamond water drill to drill the hoisting and rope threading holes according to the hoisting location and cutting route. Install and secure the guide pulley and the stone wire saw equipment. Secure the main and auxiliary legs of the stone wire saw with chemical bolts.
2. Install the Diamond Wire Saw
Based on the determined cutting section, wrap the diamond wire saw around the main and auxiliary pulleys in the specified sequence and thread the wire through the rope threading holes. Thread the hoisting rope. Ensure safe lifting and removal of concrete. Connect the relevant operating system and install safety guardrails. Connect relevant pipelines and safety equipment, including water, electricity, and mechanical equipment, according to site conditions.
3. Cutting
Press the start button, adjust the automatic pulley to increase tension, ensure the diamond wire saw is properly tensioned, supply cooling water, and then start the automatic pulley to drive the diamond wire saw in reverse cutting. Lift and crush. After cutting is completed, lift the concrete component to the designated crushing location and quickly transport it away from the construction site.
