2. Observe the color of the segment.
A high-quality granite saw blade segment should appear silver-white with the natural metallic sheen of iron. Low-quality segments contain many impurities, making them appear dark or dull.
3. Evaluate the cutting performance.
After selecting the appropriate blade model based on seller recommendations, test its cutting ability. A good blade should cut smoothly without resistance, and the stone should not show chipping or broken edges.
4. Identify whether the blade uses real diamond or emery.
Some inferior blades use emery instead of diamond single crystals. Emery is far less wear-resistant, making such blades inefficient and short-lived compared to those made with genuine diamond single crystals.
