How diamond segments are produced

Which tool is the best for cutting stone? Generally speaking, different stones use different cutting tools. At present, the more common is the diamond bit. Then how to make the diamond bit, the following Wanlong diamond tools are introduced for everyone one time.

The production part of the diamond segment is mainly divided into five parts, which are material preparation, mixing, tableting, sintering, and post-processing. For the five parts of the production of the segment, we will introduce them separately:

1. Material preparation

The material preparation process is a very important part of the diamond segment production process. First of all, before preparing the material, it is necessary to make a formula adjustment for the product selected by the customer for the cutting object, especially for some customers with special needs, such as cutting For very hard granite, at this time, you need to harden the carcass material of the segment. The advantage of this is that the segment can be used longer.

The adjusted formula has a corresponding material weight. According to the number of diamond segments to be produced, the total weight of various metal materials and diamond powder can be calculated. If the number is too large, it can be produced in batches. Bring all the materials to the warehouse After the medium is brought out, the process of material preparation is completed. Although the material preparation process is simple, the weight of the material must be very accurate, otherwise once the material ratio is wrong, such a segment will definitely be unusable and cause waste.

2. Mixing

Weigh the prepared powder and diamond separately, put them into the 3D mixer, and stir the materials. As time goes by, when these raw materials are fully mixed, the mixing process is completed.

The mixing process is very error-prone. If the mixing time is too long, the longer the powder is in contact with the air, the faster the oxidation will make the diamond segment more unstable; the mixing time is not enough, and the powder is not fully mixed, especially for diamonds. Part of the diamond segment is piled up, and the diamond concentration in some positions is too low, which affects the quality of the later segment. So 1-2 hours of stirring time is relatively normal.

3. Tableting

When the raw materials are fully mixed, the powdered raw materials need to be compressed, that is, the powder is passed through high pressure to form a nodular shape. Since this process is completed at room temperature about 20 degrees Celsius, this process is also called cold Pressure.

After the cold pressing, the segment is weighed, the material of inappropriate weight is cut, and the tablet is re-compressed. The final cold-pressed block has the same weight, which means that the mixing of the material of the segment is more successful. , Otherwise if there are too many cutting times, then there is a problem in the powder mixing process.

Put the cold-pressed sheet into a graphite abrasive tool. If it is a sandwich segment, an iron sheet or a non-working layer of metal powder barrier will be placed in the middle of the sheet, and then the mold will be locked, waiting for the next production process. arrival.

4. Sintering

This process is mainly completed by a sintering machine. Through the rapid increase of high temperature and high pressure, the metal powder is quickly melted. After the liquid metal powder is melted, the molecules begin to fuse. When it is cooled, the metal agglomerates and The diamond powder forms a very strong stress, which plays a role in fixing the diamond powder.

After the sintering process is completed, the segment needs to be cooled at room temperature. After cooling, the mold is removed, and the segment is produced.

5. Post-processing

When the diamond segment is taken out of the mold, the appearance is relatively unsightly, so it is necessary to stir the diamond segment to smooth the surface of the segment and form a more beautiful appearance.

In terms of color, sandblasting is required to make the surface of the segment show a more natural and beautiful metallic color. Finally, the bottom and the edge are sharpened according to the customer’s requirements, so that the customer can directly weld the segment after receiving it, reducing The trouble of cutting edge.
